Easy Pumpkin Spice Latte

I can't go a day without a hot drink.

Summer, winter or in between, hot beverages signify a break in my day, a pause, and a little bit o’ comfort. They are part of my self care.

Herbal teas, elixers, and my tumultuous relationship with coffee, I heat, brew and blend my way through my days.

Coffee and I dance around a lot, as it can increased my anxiousness immensely, at times.

So I drink alternatives. My FAV ❤️ right now is Dandy Blend. Dandy Blend is produced by Goosefoot Acres, is Non-GMO and is a delicious switch from coffee right now for me. It is also gluten free, and made up of 5 ingredients (extracts of barley, rye, dandelion, chicory and sugar beetroot). I also love matcha, chai (not the syrupy kind, the tea kind) and the promise of autumn has me blending up a Pumpkin Spice Latte.

This could probably fall under the fat fuelled elixir umbrella, as the coconut milk gives it some substance. It's a nice little alternative to the Bulletproof Coffee, which is also DEE-LISH, I might add. 

So easy, just put the following ingredients into a blender or magic bullet. If your liquid is hot, place a towel over the lid of the blender and hold firm. I learned the hard way with this.

Whir the ingredients in a blender and pour into your mug.

Mmmmm, creamy, spicy, warm, aromatic goodness, with some filling satisfying healthy fat. 

Yes, please!
